Valerie Francisque was born in 1967, in La Rochelle, on the Atlantic coast.

1985-1987 : learns oil painting with Miss Imbert, artist from La Rochelle.
1988-1990 : practices oil, acrylic, charcoal and red chalk drawing at the “Atelier de Toulouse”.
1993 : studies contemporary art at the “Ecole des Beaux Arts” of Cherbourg, Normandy.
1998-1999 : firsts exhibitions in Normandy.
2001-2003 : lives in Japan and goes on painting and making exhibitions ; at the same time, studies art of stain-glass with Master Itagaki and calligraphy with Master Iwasawa.
2003-2005 : back in France, exhibitions in Normandy.

2005 : New departure for Japan …
